The 7 man strong group made their appearance at Joe's Pub on friday september 20th as part of their American -Canadian tour. The audience was treated to Fra Fra classics like "Worship Mother Earth" (mam' aysa) and new tunes from their upcoming CD. Strong blowing by Efraim Trujillo and Michael Simon, along with the tastefull piano sounds courtesy of Robin van Geerke got the concert off to a good start. Guitarist extraordinaire Andro Biswane told the audience a story on his Talking drum. And when the rhythm section, consisting of mr. Fra Fra Henar, Carlo Ulrichi and trendsetting drummer Guno Kramer, shifted in 3rd gear, people could no longer sit still and started shaking their thing.When it was over the crowd left with smiles on their faces and their batteries recharged.
